BMW ConnectedDrive
So connected, you’re free.
Our world is becoming more connected every day. BMW drivers, however, enjoy better connections than most. They can
access information, communicate by telephone and email, keep a close eye on the traffic and generally stay up to date while
on the move. The innovations that so effectively network BMW vehicles with the outside world are grouped under one term –
BMW ConnectedDrive.

The
ConnectedDrive Services
option provides the basis for a wide range of information, entertainment and service features
while on the road.
They include BMW Online, which gives access to current, localised information such as weather and news as well as online
searches powered by Google™ and various office functions. Using the Applications menu, you can combine an array of specific
services and features such as webcams, fuel pricing, parking information and travel and hotel guides.
Secure and unlimited use of selected smartphone apps is included for an unlimited period. The ConnectedDrive Services
option provides access to the
BMW ConnectedDrive Store
, where services and apps can be selected and extended
according to individual needs at any time and from any place. The ConnectedDrive Services option also offers much more
to make each journey in your BMW an enjoyable experience in every way.

in the vehicle.
This allows smartphone content, along with functions such as
music, iMessages/text messages, telephony, Siri and selected
third-party apps, to be displayed and operated in the regular
manner via the vehicle’s user interface.
The
Navigation system Professional

, including hands-
free facility, USB interface, 8.8" LCD colour display and Radio
BMW Professional with a DVD player, comes with a three-
dimensional map display and 20 GB of memory. The system
is operated intuitively via the iDrive Touch Controller. Automatic
map updates are available for three years without license fees.

projects information relevant to the journey directly into the driver’s field of vision,
thereby allowing them to fully concentrate on driving. The display includes information such as the current speed, navigation
directions, Speed Limit Info incl. no-overtaking indicator, along with telephone and entertainment lists.

Compatibility and functionality of the iPhone

Automatic map updates are available for three years without a licence charge from authorised BMW dealers. As part of BMW ConnectedDrive, the system automatically updates the maps
in selected European countries up to four times a year for three years.
