The compact design of the permanent magnet electric motors and the concentric transmission layout saves space compared to a conventional offset configuration. This enables the combination of a spacious cabin with a 530-litre luggage compartment. Because there’s no combustion engine under the bonnet, the I-PACE Concept features a front luggage compartment instead, further increasing stowage space. > CENTRE CONSOLE With no transmission tunnel or traditional controller to package, the floating centre console features an 8-litre storage compartment plus additional space for items such as phones.
