BMW Head-Up Display

extended functions, projects relevant data, such as the current road speed,
directly into the driver’s feld of vision. For the frst time, all BMW Head-Up
Display data are shown in full colour, making information even more precise
and easier to process. Navigation instructions, Lane Departure Warning
messages, Speed Limit Info, Check Control as well as entertainment and
communications lists can also be displayed (not in conjunction with
windscreen with grey shade band).
Interior mirror with automatic anti-glare function,
large surface area.
The dazzle from following vehicles is automatically reduced when the amount
of incident light exceeds a defned limit.
Interior and exterior mirrors with automatic anti-glare function
and
electric fold-in function for exterior mirrors.
Alarm system
with radio remote control and anti-theft device for effective
protection. In the event of an attempted break-in or unauthorised vehicle transport,
the system emits acoustic signals and switches on the hazard warning lights.
Integrated Owner’s Manual
for
quick and immediate access to all
vehicle-specifc information.The
owner’s manual can be navigated via
the iDrive Controller and is shown on
the Control Display. Depending on
equipment, topics are presented
using multimedia elements such as
animations and dynamic illustrations.
Lane Departure Warning
incl.
camera based Approach Warning
uses a camera to recognise whether
the vehicle is in danger of swerving
out of its lane, and alerts the driver
immediately by making the steering
wheel vibrate (part of the optional
Driving Assistant).
Lane Change Warning
detects
vehicles in the driver’s blind spot and
vehicles approaching at speed in the
adjacent lane when the driver has
activated the indicator in order to
change lanes. The system alerts the
driver by making the steering wheel
vibrate and by displaying a visual
warning on the exterior mirror.
Speed Limit Info with no-overtaking indicator
detects current speed
limits and no-overtaking signs and shows them to the driver in the Info Display or
the optional BMW Head-up Display (only in conjunction with BMW navigation
systems and instrument cluster with extended functions).
Automatic air conditioning with
single-zone control,
incl. microflter.
Automatic air conditioning with
two-zone control
includes
Automatic Air Recirculation (AAR) with
an active carbon flter, as well as
fogging and solar sensors.
