The history of the BMW 3 Series Touring began in the year
1987. The frst Touring already combined all the virtues
that still mark it today: optimum functionality, exhilarating
dynamic performance, effcient engines, and – of course –
sporting elegance. Qualities that also characterise the
BMW 3 Series Touring.
The design of the BMW 3 Series Touring matches the
lifestyle of modern man. Its most outstanding feature is its
dynamic fair, with a sporty, low front blending into the
sculpted tight surfaces and carefully placed lines of an
athletic body that symbolises power. Exciting design
elements that provide further accents include the twin
headlights and BMW kidney grille. These now form a
continuous visual unit, lending the BMW 3 Series Touring
its distinctive character. Expressive eyebrows focus the
car’s gaze on the road. The result is an unmistakable face
that immediately captivates the observer’s imagination.
