Power, responsiveness and revving ability characterise every BMW engine. Naturally, all the BMWTwinPowerTurbo engines
available for the BMW 3 Series Touring follow the BMW EffcientDynamics philosophy, aiming to combine maximum performance with maximum
effciency, minimising both fuel consumption and CO

emissions. Whichever engine you choose, you can be certain that you will enjoy maximum

BMW 328i.
This BMW TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder petrol engine delivers
its maximum torque of 350Nm from just 1,250rpm to 4,800rpm.
Thanks to BMW TwinPower Turbo technology combining a TwinScroll
turbocharger with Valvetronic, Double-VANOS and High Precision
Injection, this 180kW (245hp) powerplant accelerates the car from 0 to
100km/h in just 6.0 seconds. Top speed is 250km/h, while average
fuel consumption is 6.8–6.9 litres per 100km

BMW 316i.
The new 1.6-litre BMW TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder petrol engine
combines a TwinScroll turbocharger, Valvetronic, Double-VANOS and
High Precision Injection to deliver an output of 100kW (136hp) and a
maximum torque of 220Nm. The TwinScroll turbocharger makes for a
very fast response to the accelerator pedal, and a 0–100km/h time of
9.4 seconds. Top speed is 210km/h. BMW EffcientDynamics features
such as the Automatic Start/Stop function and the Optimum Shift
Indicator maximise fuel effciency. The BMW 316i consumes just
5.9–
6.2 litres per 100km

BMW 335i.
This 3.0-litre BMW TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder in-line petrol engine
combines a TwinScroll turbocharger with Valvetronic, Double-VANOS
and High Precision Injection. This intelligent package of innovations
lowers fuel consumption to just 8.1–8.2 litres per 100km

, while enabling impressive performance: 225kW (306hp),
a maximum torque of 400Nm and acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in just

BMW 320i.
This 2.0-litre BMWTwinPowerTurbo four-cylinder petrol engine combines
a TwinScroll turbocharger with Valvetronic, Double-VANOS and High
Precision Injection. This makes for powerful engine response combined
with outstanding effciency. 135kW (184hp) of power enable a maximum
torque of 270Nm, acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 7.5 seconds, and a
top speed of 233km/h (228km/h with Steptronic transmission). Its average
fuel consumption is 6.4–6.6 litres per 100km
