Pomurje is a region located in the north-east
part of Sloveniabehind theMura riverandbor-
deringonAustria,HungaryandCroatia. Its ter-
ritory is 1.337 km

large, which makes 6,6%
from thewhole territory of Slovenia. Thereare
about 120.875 inhabitants in Pomurje, which
makes about 6,3% of the total population of
Slovenia.
The energy access is very important in our
everyday life. Increase of price, threat of se-
curity, energy supply and climate change are
influencingonus. Sustainable, competitiveand
save energy is one of the bases of our life.We
are all aware of the global energy market ef-
fects. The exploitation of renewable energy
sources are slowly but persistently becoming

, whichwouldmake heating of some smallermunicipalities free of charge, i.e. thanks to
