BIOGAS
Biogas isagas, which is receivedby fermenta-
tionor rottingof organicsubstances/wastes
without oxygen presence into simple compo-
nents under the ferments and yeasts influ-
ence. Biogas can be produced from almost
all organic materials, which are containing
enough share carbon.
WINDENERGY
Mankind has being using wind or wind energy
since 3000 years already. Wind power plant
is transforming the wind energy into electric
power bymeans of the generator. The energy
produced by the wind power plants primarily
depends on the wind speed and the denomi-
nated power of the definite power plant. Most
of the wind power plants need for functioning
already 5-25m/swind speed.
According to the wind speed analysis in the
Pomurje region there is a small possibility to
set up awind power plant, because of the cor-
respondingwindspeed hasbeen reachedonly
once in thewhole year.
BIODIESEL
Biodiesel is a motor fuel produced by means
of a chemical process out of oil rape, soyaand
others oil-seeds and cereals. It can be produ-
ced also out of wasted oils and animal fats
extraction.
INTERESTINGFACT!
To satisfy the needs for the electric energy gained exclusively from biogas in the Pomurje
region, wewould need around12.000 ha ofmaize silage.
