essere appoggiati ad uno spallamento fisso ricavato sull’al-
bero, la bussola viene inserita in seguito e pressata dentro
il foro conico del cuscinetto.

di estrazione in base al loro utilizzo. Due sono gli impieghi
che possono avere questi accessori per cuscinetti, uno è il
bloccaggio sull’albero, che può avvenire in modi diversi,
l’altro è facilitare il montaggio/smontaggio del cuscinetto

supplies different types of lockingor extraction lock
nuts based on what they are to be used for. These accessories
for bearings may have two uses: one for locking on the shaft,
whichmaybedonedifferentlyandoneforfacilitatingassembly/
disassembly of the bearing on/from the shaft.
ISB®
lock nuts
offer three different ways of locking on the shaft, as follows.

oCking
Safety waSher
They are usedwith lock nut series KMand KML. They are
simple, stable and reliable locking elements (
Fig. 5
).

oCking Clip or
plate
Are assembled into the lock nuts, HM type, by a screw
that fix a plate in a slot in the nut and into a groove on the
shaft. Designation MS (
Fig. 6
).

La ghiera è dotata di un anello interno di Nylon che
all’avvitamentogenerafrizione,acontattocolfilettomaschio
generando una forza bloccante. Le ghiere autobloccanti

The lock nut has an internal Nylon ring that generates
fiction whilst screwing it, in contact with the male thread, ge-
nerating a locking force. The self-locking nuts have GTN and
GTP designation suffix (
